If I Were a Girl...

Well my fellow readers, here's that interesting post I've been promising. Now I'm not sure if this thought has ever come to mind for any person. As a short disclaimer before I fully duevle into this post, this is only a simple what if. So no I'm not going to do anything crazy or stupid, it's just something I think about and I wonder if anyone else thinks of this too. Since this idea first came to mind because back when I was little my mom always wanted to have at least one daughter, but she ended up with me and my brothers and Ryo's mother Mari ended up with Marc, Ryo and Colin, but later Zaki (Ryo's female clone) would unofficially join the family as the daughter she always wanted. She always told us all the girl names she had in mind, granted they were names based on the first letter of our names. So I would have ended up with something like Jennifer or Jane, but I forget what other names she had in mind. So you've read my posts on girls now see my thoughts on what life would have been like as a girl.

For one thing I think life would have been traditional Chinese girl upbringing. I would go shopping with my mom and learn how to cook (because she would be badgering me about how I would need to know how to cook so I can get a good husband). One thing that I wonder is if I would have been one of those cool girls who played video games. Since it was the times my older brother and I would play co-op games on the SNES that would eventually get me into gaming. I think there'd be potential since my mom would want my older bro to share, but my older bro could have been a jerk and not let me play. Now for the biggest question that I have been considering, would I have gotten into anime? It would be both yes and possibly no. The yes side involves my exposure in my childhood, so I'm going to admit it now yes I have watched Sailor Moon (the bane of the entire magical girl genre). However the possiblity for no involves the series that really got me into anime: Gundam. I still have that facination with the giant robot genre to this day. All in all if I ended up as a girl I think I would have gotten into anime, it'd be a more casual thing rather than a hardcore thing that I have now.

Personality wise, I would be a nice girl. I'd probably still retain my quiet demeanor, but I think I could be an anime cliche. I'd be the Moe girl, for those of you who don't know what this means it's like this: imagine a confident girl, but at times she can be a little ditzy in a cute way that makes you say awww and because of that guys really want to protect her. I think I would ahve a different major, probably something along the lines of bussiness or child development but I don't know. Afterall I'm just basing these things off of what I am right now and alittle on some of the feminine thoughts I've had thus far. So thats the interesting post of the day.
