A Pitch XII

Well here we are again with another one of my anime ideas. This one is probably going to be another huge series idea, one probably with a 50 episode limit since it has a lot to be developed in terms of characters and story. So as promised to one of my readers I present a pitch XII.

While the lands of the east maintained it's peace the lands of the west have been plunged into an era of never ending war. A war that has lead to the splitting of the kingdom of Overon into twelve realms. However with the mysterious death of King Oberon the throne of the kingdom sits empty. The death of the king has spread throughout the land, gaining the attention of the King's twelve children who each live in the twelve kingdoms. Six princes and six princesses hold special keys which contain a portion of thier spirit energy necessary to open the massive gates to the throne room of the kingdom of Overon. However the key only holds 1/2 of the owner's energy, the other half comes from a knight that the key chooses. Where the victor becomes the new ruler of Overon and the knight as the general of the most powerful military in all the realms. Thus a dangerous hunt begins for the twelve children to find thier siblings and keys. But to get the keys they must first face the knight that defends the key and it's owner.

Six princes, six princesses. Their knights: a simple farmer, a religious fanatic, a child, a prostitute, a psychopath, a widow, a ruthless mercenary, a legendary assassin, a theif, a witch, a librarian, and a gypsy. The twelve members of royalty and thier knights each with their own motives will embark on a quest that will ultimately test and question the right to rule.

The Children of Overon

If you haven't guessed it when I talk about the lands of the west and east, the western lands is where Demon Savior takes place. And this series is a prequel to the Demon Savior series, since the victor ultimately unites the twelve kingdoms together against the incoming darkness. Also not only does this series take place alongside Demon Savior, but also Asus Rapt: Assassin of Royalty (the tale of the first female successor of the Rapt name) and Destiny Drifters (the origins of how the powers of the Crident are passed on to Laura). This is a series where we see what motivates one to rule, some reasons are selfish and others honorable. However the twelve learn what it means to rule, keep that in mind because it is a big part of how this series ends.

A big announcement now, along side with my looks into a pitch III I will also be exploring the twelve and thier knights. This idea was so massive I'm sure some of you are dying to know what the Twelve and thier knights are like, so I officially announce the series of a look into a pitch XII. This series of posts will start after I finish finals so look forward to it.

If I Were a Girl...

Well my fellow readers, here's that interesting post I've been promising. Now I'm not sure if this thought has ever come to mind for any person. As a short disclaimer before I fully duevle into this post, this is only a simple what if. So no I'm not going to do anything crazy or stupid, it's just something I think about and I wonder if anyone else thinks of this too. Since this idea first came to mind because back when I was little my mom always wanted to have at least one daughter, but she ended up with me and my brothers and Ryo's mother Mari ended up with Marc, Ryo and Colin, but later Zaki (Ryo's female clone) would unofficially join the family as the daughter she always wanted. She always told us all the girl names she had in mind, granted they were names based on the first letter of our names. So I would have ended up with something like Jennifer or Jane, but I forget what other names she had in mind. So you've read my posts on girls now see my thoughts on what life would have been like as a girl.

For one thing I think life would have been traditional Chinese girl upbringing. I would go shopping with my mom and learn how to cook (because she would be badgering me about how I would need to know how to cook so I can get a good husband). One thing that I wonder is if I would have been one of those cool girls who played video games. Since it was the times my older brother and I would play co-op games on the SNES that would eventually get me into gaming. I think there'd be potential since my mom would want my older bro to share, but my older bro could have been a jerk and not let me play. Now for the biggest question that I have been considering, would I have gotten into anime? It would be both yes and possibly no. The yes side involves my exposure in my childhood, so I'm going to admit it now yes I have watched Sailor Moon (the bane of the entire magical girl genre). However the possiblity for no involves the series that really got me into anime: Gundam. I still have that facination with the giant robot genre to this day. All in all if I ended up as a girl I think I would have gotten into anime, it'd be a more casual thing rather than a hardcore thing that I have now.

Personality wise, I would be a nice girl. I'd probably still retain my quiet demeanor, but I think I could be an anime cliche. I'd be the Moe girl, for those of you who don't know what this means it's like this: imagine a confident girl, but at times she can be a little ditzy in a cute way that makes you say awww and because of that guys really want to protect her. I think I would ahve a different major, probably something along the lines of bussiness or child development but I don't know. Afterall I'm just basing these things off of what I am right now and alittle on some of the feminine thoughts I've had thus far. So thats the interesting post of the day.

An Angry Asian Man's Rant on: the Long Beach shuttle system

It has come to my attention that when children become the age of 21 they think of nothing more than what kind of drink they would like to have and when they come to age 16 they think about what car to buy. Being past the age of 16 and turning 21 this past year I have still yet to get a car and do research into one and I really do not enjoy drinking. But that is beside the point, the thing I want to rant about is since I don't have a car I have to think of a different way to get to class everyday. This comes in the form of Cal State Long Beach's "Campus Connection" shuttle system. Now the system is free, granted you are at least a student. However that is where the system fails, it has come to my attention that while one of the prerequisites are being a student that is only one of the many hoops you jump through if you live off campus. Now if you live off campus you are required to get a sticker that proves you live off campus so that you can ride on the shuttle at any of the off campus stops. Apparently Long Beach is plagued with crazys up the yin yang and the only way to keep the riff raff off the shuttles is for students to get said sticker.

Now when you do get the sticker you think that it would be some creative and clever sticker designed by our fine students in the graphic design program, but no what you get is a big ugly rectangle with a bunch of random numbers that takes up a good 3/5ths of your id card and seems like it should go on your license plate. You may be asking why I'm so upset with this part of the system, well here's why. Last year drivers didn't really care if you got the sticker or not, I for one never got it and all was right with the world. But now said sticker is required and every time I get on the shuttle the person gives the driver his/her sob story about how "oh I lost my id card" or they frantically look through their purse/man purse (ha! gay joke, I'm a terrible person sometimes. My readers have all the right to shoot me with a tranquilizer filled with cynide) until the driver gets fed up and lets the person on anyways. You make a system and students will do everything in thier power to get around it.

Next off the people on campus. Now the off campus shuttle also picks up students on campus as well. One of type(s) of shuttles goes along the dorms and parking lots on campus. Now what seems strange to me are the people in the dorms, they actually have the time to wait for the shuttle and those who get on are already late anyways so there is really no point to wait. Plus the whole purpose of living on campus is because One: you live really, really far from Long Beach, Two: you don't have a car and you can afford to live on campus for the experience, Three: You're from another country. Now the perk of living on campus is the fact is obvious, YOU'RE ON CAMPUS ALREADY MEANING YOU CAN LITERALLY WALK TO CLASS IN LESS THAN 10 MINUTES MAX IF YOU WALK AT A STEADY PACE! Not only that but when the shuttle is about to leave campus it swings by the parking lot and dorms before leaving. Now you see the problem here, hundreds of students want to go back to thier off campus homes while those who drove or live in the dorms who are too lazy to walk take the shuttle as the shuttle is going back off campus. I am in direct competition with these people and I cannot stress how many shuttles I've missed because it fills up with these people. It confuses even the most brilliant mind (such as mine) as to why people would do this. But enough ranting now, I fear that the school will read this and deem me utterly insane and ship me off to an island where people know too much.

Join me next time when I post something rather interesting, trust me it is going to be weird when you read it but when you do read it step back and consider the topic for yourself as well.

A Look into a Pitch III

Well heres another look into a pitch III. I know some of you can't really follow these posts sometimes, but it's a way to get my creative juices out when they start to overflow or ripen. So join me next time when I write an interesting post next week.

China's current one child policy still remains in the year 2018. Boys are still preferred over girls. With this policy it has caused many young girls without homes, most are put up for adoption but adoptions are very rare. In 2000, China put a new policy into effect. The Dragon Women program, all girls without a home are put into military training at the age of 5. From there girls are trained in the art of combat creating highly effective task force that rivals the People's Army. The Dragon Women force ranks highly with special forces such as the British SAS, the U.S. Delta Force and the Russian Spetsnaz. They had enough training to take on World War III. However the program was disbanded when humane societies demanded that the girls be discharged. The government however saw them as a stain and sought to elminate them, but General Chu Lynn sought to allow these girls a second chance at life and took them to America. However these girls have only known how to fight and the constant crime in Los Angeles became a new battlefield for Chu and his soliders. Thus gave rise to the Red Star Triad in the city of Los Palmos.

Notable skill: Killhouse

The SAS run through a rigorous training program, assuring it's members are the best of the best. To do this the British have recruits go through their patented Killhouse, a replica of a indoor combat scenario. Various targets are set up and performance is monitored via cameras. Efficient and deadly, only live rounds are used to promote authenticity of the scenario, the Killhouse has become the standard for all urban combat scenarioes. The SAS are trained throughly and are trained to shoot targets in the head first. This training holds true for S-hunter 1 Rhys Viral. He is often hired for this skill he calls: Killhouse. He can enter a hostage situation and clear a building of all hostiles within 2 minutes.

Next look will focus on Uberos class demons and the skill of S-hunter 7 Creed.
