Myself as a Fan of Demon Savior
I guess I'd like to take this time to reflect on my favorite things about my third pitch idea Demon Savior. I want to use this time to take a look back on the various looks into this idea, since I believe that eventually I will run out of things to write about for this idea. So I will tell to my faithful readers my favorite things about this idea.
First up my favorite hero character is believe it or not, Marc Huang. While Ryo is based off myself Marc is based off my older brother. I based his character off of various characters who used hand to hand combat such as Sabin from Final Fantasy VI and Rock Lee from Naruto. The thing I admire about him is that he stands as a role model for what Ryo fights for, to be kind in the face of a dark and evil world and protect those who don't deserve it. Another thing I like about him is that he doesn't require a weapon to fight, he's relies on his fists and his 50 caliber handcannon in despirate situations.
Now for my favorite demon generals Cage of Shadow and Radune of Plague. Cage was a character that I felt sounded like the perfect rival to Selpha. He's practically a genius when it comes to the use of his dimension katana Kragon, although he's only second to Kin when it comes to using it to it's full potential. But I always picture Cage using Kragon by twirling it by the ring attached to it's hilt creating a black hole absorbing bullets. Radune the thing I like about his character is that he's a living bio weapon. Since he can make his blood into various chemicals or create viruses in his blood to destroy his opponents.
Now on to what makes this series inspiring to me. Like I mentioned before this series tells of a young man who fights against the darkness that consumed our world, but in the end it was he himself who was saved from that darkness by those who fought alongside him. Like I keep stressing about this series Ryo is me, his story is more or less a fictional representation of my high school life. While no I myself did not fight demons and various criminals, Ryo was saved by his friends who fought with him. That is what happened to me once I got to college, I found a group of people who cared for me and they saved me from the darkness that consumed my heart. So that is why I love this series so much, and the day I run out of things to write about this idea I'll know that I was able to developed this series and it's characters to it's fullest.
