A Message To Myself

I've been feeling kinda down every so often. So I decided to write myself this message so that I could read it later and cheer up.

You're feeling sad or troubled aren't you? Well nobody said college was going to be easy. Sure the assignments you will need to do in the future seem tough. But remember "A job is broken down into many smaller tasks" With that said I'm sure the professors will remind you when these things will come up and you'll be able to plan for them to get them done. So don't worry so much about the work. As for tests and quizzes the most important thing is to study hard and expect both the worst and the best to happen. If you ever need extra help go see the professor, they want you to do well. As for dorm life, you're not alone. Everyone is pretty nice. Plus you know a few people and remember the day you spoke to a good friend of yours. So keep your head held high and work hard and you'll do fine. Mom and Dad are proud of you.

Well with that said I really don't feel like making two posts in the same day, so I'd thought I'd write about the Japanese voice actors for Demon Savior.

Ryo Huang- Akira Ishida (Athrun Zala, Chrono, Gaara of the Desert)

Marc Huang- Takahiro Sakurai (Cloud Strife, Suzumu Yamazaki)

Colin Huang (Marc and Ryos' little brother) - Yumiko Kobayashi (Tetsunosuke Ichimura)

Naoki Asai - Kumi Sakuma (Mika Asagi, Hinamori Momo)

Robert Huang (Ryo's father) - Fumihiko Tachiki (Gendo Ikari, Bunji Kugashira, Zaraki Kenpachi)

Selpha - Shougo Suzuki (Vincent Valentine)

Shen Marquis - Kenichi Suzumura (Zack, Shinn Asuka)

Iris - Tomoko Kawakami (Rosette Christopher, Mary of Magdalene, Soi Fong)

Cage - Kazuhiko Inoue (Kakashi Hatake, Aion)

Rin Cron (I will write about her later) - Naomi Shindoh (Cagalli Atha)

Those are some of the voices I had in mind for some of these characters, maybe another look into a pitch III some time in a few weeks.

Note: head up for a pitch IV its going to be a romance.

Last Look Into A Pitch III (for a while anyways)

OK, I know I promised that there wouldn't be any more looks, I lied. I just love this pitch idea so much. The only bad thing is that if someone sees this and steals it I'm not going to get any credit for it. Alas so is the will of the world. with that said here is an actual look into a fight scene.

Both Ryo and Marc are captured by a mercenary that was hired by Ryo's old friends (Ryo captures them all and sends them to jail) to kidnap their still recovering mother and kill Ryo. The merc is a highly skilled soldier known for killing an S ranked bounty hunter. To crush Ryo's spirit the merc sends Marc to the most vicious pit fighting ring in L.A and forces Ryo to watch. There, the specators prep Marc for what would seem to be his last fight. They find various weights and wires going around his body. "Dude this guy is some kind of freaky robot" one onlooker says. The weights are for show, they only weigh about ten pounds. The real twist are the wires; they're strength inhibitors linked to the weights. They control the amount of strength that Marc can use. They are set to zero, normally the body only uses 60 percent of the muscles strength, the inhibitors cause Marc to only use 0 percent of his strength.

Marc is to face the reigning champ of the ring, in an inescapable cage match. The first blow is delt by the champ, Marc falls to his knees and the crowd roars. Marc gets up and delivers a seemingly slow punch. The champ is blown across the ring. Marc looks around the crowd booing him, sets the inhibitors to 60 and removes the weights. The next two challengers face him, Marc throws the weights at them and defeats them both with Jeet Kune Do style. Soon the fighters rush in, the crowd throwing weapons into the ring. This part is where we see how Marc has developed his Blitz style. You'll see Fire Dance (very fast), Pummel, Suplex, Air Blade (a unique attack). The fighters will pick up weapons and try to attack but to no avail. One guy gets it when Marc knocks out a guy with a bottle and while its still in the air he smashes it sending shards into the face of the next person coming at him.Eventually the Merc offers 900 million credits to the person that defeats Marc. Then everyone in the crowd rushes in to the ring to fight. It'll be a hectic fight but Marc can handle anything. Who will win? Lets just say that the L.A. hospitals will be too full to take in all of them.

Well it was fun getting this out, I'm going to take more looks into this pitch in the future. Still have some generals I haven't talked about yet and another one of Ryo's friends that aid him in his fight. So until then keep reading.

Something Interesting (its about a Pitch III)

To my faithful reader(s) I've posted an actual line from Demon Savior on my IM profile, it sounds really good so check it out or not since only a select few know my im name and I don't feel like getting spammed by anyone so check it out.

A Look Into A Pitch III

Wow two looks into a pitch III again, sorry but I start school soon so got to get the creative juices from the summer in before I go back. I guess its kinda like Naruto with all the fillers (fillers end soon when they hit 200). Ryo's first C ranked op requires him to take down a thief who kills his victims after he robs them. Ryo wants to bring him back alive, even though he is worth less alive than dead (some bounties are worth more dead than alive). Ryo ids his target then he tracks him down. Ryo finally catches up to him when the target kills an entire family; parents, children and grandparents. Rain falls as Ryo confronts him, with a Sig in the target's hand he fights Ryo to the death. Ryo begins to have second thoughts about how to bring him in as he argues with Selpha (Ryo can speak to Selpha telepathically) to not kill him. Eventually the thief makes a mistake and falls, his Sig slides to Ryo and he picks it up. With trembling hands Ryo points the gun at the thief with both rage and mercy in his heart. The thief begins to beg for his life then Ryo pulls the trigger. Ryo walks away with the Sig in his hand, down the sidewalk trailing with blood as the rain pours and Ryo has just killed his first target.

The overall plot of Demon Savior is to be really dark, yet at times light hearted. These two elements will be hard to mix since you can't have both. Dark elements are from the operations and the criminal plots. Yes there will be violence, probably more like an uncut episode of Blue Gender, but it won't go so far as Akira. The light hearted elements will probably be fillers as to take a break from the violence and explore how Ryo takes a break from operations.

Well thats all for the looks into a pitch III, I'm not too sure what we'll be looking at character wise or plot wise. Maybe something more meaningful as my college career progresses, but I'd like to revisit this pitch more in the future.

A Look Into A Pitch III

The human blood contains various elements sodium, potassium, iron and etc. With that knowledge skilled warriors can use thier own blood as a weapon. Seal Warriors concentrate on creating spells using holy weapons (holy water, cruxifix and sulfur) nature and throwing weapons. Using the blood is highly forbidden due to thier immense power and physical toll on the body. Some blood spells I came up with were the blood eye technique. The user makes a fire circle followed by several markings in the circle, this is a basic technique that requires no sub circles. The blood eye technique dulls all senses but hearing and sight and also the part of the brain that causes pain. It amplifies those two allowing the user to see through all illusions and even objects. It also increases the strength and speed. The consequences are that the user goes on a blood lust and will do anything to eliminate an opponent. Thus breaking bones, tearing muscles and any wounds inflicted will have drastic affect on the user when it wears off. Blood armor by making an iron circle and several fire and earth subcircles the user can harden the iron and calcium in thier blood to create a crystalized armor that no weapon can pierce. Any wound sustained causes the blood realesed to harden as well. This is the only spell with no disadvantage if casted correctly, but it is very hard to do since one mistake and you'll harden the blood inside you. Crimson drops Fire circle and water subcircles; the user makes every drop of blood in him a potent bomb. Each drop has the explosive force of 5 tons of dynamite. The downside is that the user can not move fast since it would agitate the highly volitile liquid inside.

In the Demon Savior world if you can see the demons that reside in anyone, then you can see wandering spirits or ghosts. People with the souls of heros, demons or angels can see spirits no problem. Only the ghosts are people who are still bound to the world by thier final wishes. Either they wait 100 years to possess a toy or person to achieve thier last wish or they find people to do it for them. If a person can fufill the spirits wish they pass on and bestow that person with a final gift. For example, Marc was the only student at a dojo that taught the Blitz style, his teacher was killed and only taught Marc for one day. Marc returns to the dojo to find it burned to the ground. Upon seeing it he finds his teacher's glasses and returns it to the body of his teacher. By returning his glasses Marc's teacher makes him the sole sucessor and future master of the Blitz style. By helping spirits people can gain powers, memories, skills or knowledge. These quests are probably going to serve as fillers or story elements if I ever write this pitch.

Good news everyone, a pitch IV is now in the works. So hopefully sometime in the fall or winter it should be up. Next time in our lengthly look into a pitch III Ryo's first C operation and the plot of Demon Savior.

Nerds Vs. Jocks

Nerds unite!! Time for this beast to let loose on how I feel between the complex social structure that we call school (da da dum dum). For anyone whos ever been a student at any school, there will always be the popular and the unpopular. For the record I am even below the unpopular line, I am a social outcast but its okay. I've made several observations in my time at school and at other places. You will probably never see someone popular in the anime or video game section of an electronics store. Where will you find them you ask? Car dealerships, working, T.V. sections, and magazine aisles. Shout LAN party at a popular kid party and no one will know what the heck that is.

The sad thing is that the jocks will always rely on the nerds. You see its much like I mentioned earlier about this one part in Catcher In The Rye, Holden is sitting in his room and his roomate (a well known sports figure at thier school) asks if he can borrow something from Holden. Holden goes on to make a very good (if not excellent) obseration. Popular people will probably never talk to a nobody unless they need something from you. Its because they think that they're so well known to everyone that even a lesser being would probably throw themselves into a pit of sharks for them just to help them out. Its sad really its humanity's greatest flaw, people are greedy and self centered they never think about others before themselves.

Nerds, they look out for each other. They trade big lavish things that jocks covet for simpiler things. Such as LAN parties, game tournies and even simple things. Its kind of like the world of Naruto to me. There will be ninjas from noble families born with skills and power that would take any other ninja years to accomplish. Sasuke is much like a jock to me (he's about the only character in the entire series that I hate so much) he wants revenge so much that he gives into peer pressure to join Orochimaru. It leaves other ninja like Naruto and Rock Lee to train their butts off just to match someone like him.

I don't know, young people will always hope to be like the popular kids and jocks. Only there is a fatal flaw in this as well. In the adult world it doesn't matter, being popular doesn't get you that exectutive position in a corporation skill and education does. Jocks have a laughable percentage to go on to the professional leagues. Even more tragic no one will even remember the games that you helped win, much less what number you were. When your a nerd these things don't apply to you. You work for what you want and you make yourself into a good person and you win over the jocks.

A Look Into A Pitch III

Wow two looks into one of my favorite pitches in a row. I'm sorry about this, but I promise something more meaningful next post. Where did we leave off, oh yes the three forms of Ryo. Ryo originally begins as a simple high school student, but after his "death" he comes back a much darker person. First form he wears a black trench coat that was given to him when he leaves the hospital (his injuries include: cuts, a gunshot wounds to the lungs, and the worst one his left hand was blown off by a shotgun at point blank). With a new perspective on the world he goes off in search of a job to pay for his mother's life support (she was tortured and raped by Ryo's friends) since she is in a coma. I had the character design with something simple and somewhat cliched. Sure all anti-heros wear trench coats big whoop whats so special, Ryo is an expert in electronics, all his guns are connected wirelessly with his left hand now mechanical. Each finger tip unholsters pistols, sawn off shotguns and submachine guns. Ryo carries around Selpha's sword in its camoflaged form as a katana on his back. As for Selpha he is still trying to regain his powers and so his design is simple as well. Its pretty much armor and cape. Second form, now Ryo has become a well known bounty hunter; he wears a flak jacket and his coat is lined with steel mail. His sword is now no longer strapped to his back but now is suspended by Ryo's own electromagnetic field. Selpha has regained his powers his form is now thickly covered in huge pieces of armor that weigh over a ton, but he can still move around quickly. Final form; Ryo has become a master marksman and swordsman. Design includes forms one and two, only his coat is now riddled with bulletholes, he wears a face mask over his mouth and his body is wrapped with chains. Selpha's form now controls chains called the chains of chaos. The form is small and seems almost weak, but think Spawn's cape and the second form's huge armor only smaller. However the chains can be called to attack or defend. when Ryo transforms into Selpha his transformation is really animated. The armor forms over Ryo's body and he becomes a demon.

Wow that was long, now for the Blitz style of combat. The Blitz style was founded in the year 2000 and is still being developed, it utulizes high speed attacks without sacrificing strength. The style was created to fix the flaw in fighting hand to hand. That is to eliminate the proportionment between speed and strength. Do you put all your strength in a slow but hard punch or do you sacrifice that strength to deliver a quick blow. The Blitz style eliminates that by using soul energy for quick movements and allowing the user to focus on strong blows. Marc (Ryo's brother) becomes the style's sole successor. He does that by becoming the only student at the only dojo that teaches it. Marc always knew he was a skilled fighter (he's possessed by a hero that mastered all styles of hand to hand combat) so he goes to learn this difficult style. The consequences of this style is that you burn a lot of energy moving so fast and you become tired and the blows are so strong you can rip muscles. Marc is a special person, he is very strong and quick already due to extreme work outs. So he doesn't need to use soul energy to move quickly and he can already proportion his strength and speed. So his soul energy is used to heal his wounds if he's hurt during a fight or reenergize himself. He becomes its successor by fufilling the last wish of his master to pass on into the afterlife. More on that later though, Marc must now master this fighting style to perfect it and pass it on to the next generation.

Wow that was really long, next time blood spells that can be used in conjunction with seal circles and last wishes of wandering spirts.

A Look Into A Pitch III

Lets get started first off are bounty operations. Bounty ops rank from E to S rank, E through D ranked ops are odd jobs, errands, and people of little interest these are usually the lowest paying jobs. C to B are going after people, most are small time criminals such as murderers, rapists and thieves. A ranked ops are the ones going after major criminal members such as mafia family members and bosses, syndicate bosses, as well as other bounty hunters (yes bounties can be placed on hunters). S class ops are rare and the most difficult. These operations require skill, precision one mistake and your dead. The targets are influencial figures such as corrupt business owners dealing or aiding in drug deals; as well as the most difficult of criminals and any job with a pay minimum of 100 million credits (currency in America has become credits). S rank ops are the biggest paying ranging from 100 mil to 600 billion. Hunters are ranked from E to S. Completing a certain amount of ops allow you to rise in rank. S rank is the most difficult, requirements 100 of each op from E to A, as well as completing an S ranked op, and finally 100 recommendations from clients. S ranking is a symbol that a hunter is reliable and highly skilled there are only 7 known S ranked bounty hunters in the world.

Well enough with the technical stuff with bounty ops, Naoki is the vessal for the angel Iris, the only female archangel. Iris comes from a noble angel family, she trained with the male angels to become an archangel a warrior of heaven. Her beauty and skill are unmatched. Iris is Selpha's equal in battle next to Cage. Selpha falls in love with Iris after his betrayal, making him more of an outcast since demons consider angels as foul beings.

Anyways next time the three forms of Ryo and description of the Blitz fighting style.

A New Chapter Begins...

Well I go back to School in another few weeks. And so begins the college chapter of the exciting series of Jeffrey. Funny I'm listening to my itunes and the next song after Undo (FMA third opening) is Life Goes On (Gundam Seed Destiny) I guess it fits into context of this post. I've ended the High School chapter arc of my life and so begins the next exciting story arc. I just hope I don't leave any regrets before this next chapter in my complex life begins. The end of my summer to me it feels like the end to Chrono Crusade (finally watched it) and it made me cry T_T (seriously if you don't cry at its ending your just messed up).

Anyways, I'm going to dorm at Long Beach so I'm going to be away from the comforts of home (ie my own bathroom, kitchen and T.V. access). Plus I don't know what to expect from the classes I'm going to take. I want to be young again, I've gotten to finally know who I am: an anime watching and video game obsessed nerd. I only regret that I didn't get into anime a lot sooner. Plus I finally built an up to date computer that can handle most current gen games and run some anime. Anyways I can't help but feel sad, people tell me to be excited about college. But it means I become an adult, the responsibility and independence seems too much for me. I'm going to need to know if I'm going to take the right classes for my majors and making sure that drive around safely. I'm really a kid at heart, to be honest I still watch cartoons (anime is a more mature taste to me in animation) I eat lucky charms and building models.

Well I just hope I will enjoy college as everyone says since it is really a beginning of a new chapter in my life. I must stand alone and brave its difficulties and walk down another path of blood, tears and sweat.
