The Surprising Things That You'd Find In a Hall

This may not seem to be too big of a surprise to some (it is to me) but there are some guys in my hall that actually have a 360 and even more surprising a Wii. To me these are the last things that I'd bring to a dorm. First my parents would never let me do that. The common gripe: it'll get stolen and thats a few hundreds for that console that made the robber a whole lot happier. Also I never have the time to enjoy a game, let alone a t.v. to play on. I really miss playing video games, I still haven't finished Double Agent. Well I guess I'll be able to catch up this Christmas. At another building I saw someone with a LCD flatpanel t.v. These are some things that are just screaming to be stolen and if they are, you'll probably cry and hope that your insurance will cover it.

In terms of the Wii, I'm not jealous; I'm a Sony fanboy so I'm excited about the PS3. You see just because you get a console first and enter another generation of gaming doesn't mean there won't be snags. The bugs, with the 360 there were times that it crashed when it overheated. The wrist strap for the wii comes off too easily, meaning broken windows and t.v. screens. To be quite honest I'm glad to wait for the PS3 to go down in price. a $500 minimum to play on a next gen Sony console is too rich for me. Plus by waiting the bugs will be sorted out and more supplies will come in. So lets wait and see what happens.

A Look Into A Pitch III

As mentioned earlier, ghosts are people bound by their final wishes. However there are both good and evil ghosts. Good ghosts will ask for people's help, such as finding treasured possessions, helping loved ones and errands so they can pass on. Evil ghosts will ask you to kill, destroy and ruin people. Evil ghosts will award those that help them powerful techniques, they go to hell but they transfer their evil energy to the living. People can slay or seal away these ghosts, by means of a challenge. Once initiated the ghost transforms into a demon called the Unseen. They're high class shadow demons, people have heard of them poltergises. If the person loses, death is what awaits and the ghost is free to wander as a demon. Winning, causes the ghost to be sealed away in a crystal called spirit coral. Thier soul is sealed inside, if that person is to die they can use the crystal to offer the soul in their place to die. The soul dies and is sealed away in demon purgatory.

Ryo gains the ability to create custom shells and bullets. He learned by means of zip learning, think the Matrix when Neo learned kung fu and when Trinity learned to pilot a helicopter in seconds. The same principle applies. The bullets are not your usual types. Some are blanks, but when the right amount of spirit energy is charged into them it focuses the bullet's shot into a powerful beam. Or a bullet that is acts like a grenade shell, but when fired releases smaller bomblets as the bullet spins. Shells act the same way as the first bullet, except there are white and black shells. Black shells require more energy to be focused into than the white. Both have different effects, which vary from shot to shot. These rounds are fired off via a custom sawn off shotgun and custom dual desert eagles.

Next time in the various looks into a pitch III, the Insanity general and Shen's broad sword.

The Law Has Finally Gone Nice

I've been trying to keep up with current events here at Long Beach. I found one article very amusing. Apparently three students were arrested for having two dry ice detonators and setting one off. To me that says three communists at my school brought a bomb on campus. The part I found amusing were the pictures of the students, they weren't mugshots like you'd find for most people, they were file pictures and they were SMILING!!!! Now that just shouts Communist to me. In a follow up article, the charges on the three were dropped due to insufficient evidence. Now they even say in the article that the three admitted to buying the materials for said devices, which means they are educated in creating an explosive device. They also said that the device was made to just make a loud bang, which contradicts another point that they made since they wanted to blow up pumpkins with it. Now in fireworks anything that makes a loud noise can explode. I can make a bomb out of fireworks if I wanted to, but that would make me a communist. The idiots detonated it in a parking structure, nothing shouts terrorism like that. Speaking of which one even used 9/11 as a reason why they were arrested. 9/11 was a tragedy that will be put into the history books of our children, this event was a purely stupid and only made it into my blog. Just because we want a safe country and your arrest was based on that scare, doesn't mean you should go make a bomb and detonate it on campus.

The entire article was their sob story, but they got off easily. They can still attend classes and their punishment was pretty much a slap on the hand and don't do that again. You know what this shows about my campus, I go to class with a trio of terrorists. If I did this, my sob story would only get me kicked off campus and accepted no where else. Let me say this if you can make a bomb out of simple household stuff and have the right mind to detonate it on public property you should be ready to be convicted.

WASH YOUR FRICKEN HANDS!!!

People, its common sense, you go pee or take a dump, flush (I hope), then you go wash your hands. You should never skip step two or three, you do this at home what makes it any different here in a dorm. We all share a bathroom, so flush your crap or pee down. It takes only two seconds for me to flush, you must be doing something pretty important if you skip the flushing. Now comes the most crucial part, the washing of the hands. Let me explain the process for you: you get out of the stall, go to any availible sink, turn the water on, rinse, get some soap and then rinse again and dry your hands. Is it that complicated, me working my cell phone is much more complicated than that. Laugh, I don't know all of my cell phones features, well I'm going to shoot you.

The worst one is when you don't wash your hands after you take a dump. Its single ply paper here, so you get what I'm getting at. Amazingly enough people have the guts to leave the stall and head straight for the door. I cringe at the fact, and when I stare at the door's two handles I have a 50/50 chance of touching the doo doo one. Listen, if you went to a restaurant or fast food place I'm sure you'd want to know that the person washed their hands after they went to the restroom. So what makes any other situation any different.

Enough on that, here's what my future posts will look like. Another look into a pitch III, this one will look at other spirits that people can help: evil ones, and what you can get from helping/slaying them and Ryo's own custom bullets and shells. December, on the 23rd I plan to give a reflection on my first semester of college, from there its pretty much up in the air. Well Happy Thanksgiving everyone, enjoy some turkey and spending time with family. I've got a good weekend: half a day with Double Agent and building the Strike Freedom on Wednesday.

Happy Birthday To The Beast

Well its been one year and 11 days since I've started The Beast That Shouted I At The Heart Of The World. With more than 50 posts later, I've ranted about a few things here and there and came up with four pitch ideas. I'm not too sure how many people read this, its linked with my IM profile, so those of you reading my crazy anime ideas and my thoughts about this world thanks for stopping by. As for my faithful reader(s) I look forward to another year of new things to point out about whats wrong with the world.

Ah Dangit

I know I promised a pitch IV today, but unfortunately I've decided to scrap the idea entirely. Sorry to those who were looking forward to this romance idea. I've just discovered that I'm no good at making a good romance, since one: I've never fallen in love and two: I don't even have a girl friend. So a pitch V will take the place of a pitch IV for today. If I were to write a pitch IV nobody would get it and it would sound so bad that fans of romance animes would declare me a heretic and burn me at the stake. with that said a pitch IV:

Special forces and black op groups are the standard of any countries military. With one phone call a force can be deployed anywhere in the world in less than ten minutes. With new guerilla and terrorist groups emerging everyday governments have devised a new military team. Capable of handling any militant force quickly, efficently and quietly. Enter the Zeta Squadron. A team composed of highly trained soldiers consisting of a scout, lieutenant, heavy arms, sniper and explosives. Each team gets one battle android and one criminal rehabilitated with a chip in their brain that can be switched on or off. They are tasked with the most extreme rescue, black ops, assault and demolishions operations. Each member has a unique feature to them, the heavy arms specialist is blind, mute and deaf. However with special implants and a special suit allows him to see in various vision modes and wield a top of the line heavy armament.

More on the team later, sorry about no real pitch IV.

Move List: Blitz Style

The Blitz style: a martial arts style recently developed. It combines high speed movements while maintaining strength in attacks. Speed is maintained using spirit energy, thus the user can focus on strength in attacks. However using spirit energy tires the user too quickly. This makes the style very difficult to master because of this. So not too many people bother mastering the style. As the sole successor, Marc Huang is entrusted the Blitz style; he must perfect and master the style on his own.

Pummel: A simple attack, the user increases the speed of their punches and delivers 60 punches per second.

Suplex: The user increases his speed to launch their opponent into the air. The user follows and drops the opponent at a high rotation speed into the ground.

Fire Dance: A high speed combo so fast that it causes the user's body to overheat to the point where sweat literally evaporates as its produced, the heat produced causes burns on the opponent. A double edged sword, the overheating causes burns on the user as well.

Air Blade: The only long distance move, the user creates a sonic boom and sharpens it using his spirit energy.

Mantra: A non-combat move, the user uses his own spirit energy to heal all of their wounds. Can only be used once per day, however with training this move becomes passive and heals the user constantly (Marc masters this move first, due to his ability to move extremely fast.)

Final Heaven: The user focuses all of their spirit energy into a part of the body (i.e. fist, foot, head) to deliver a powerful final attack.

Bum Rush: Blitz style ultimate attack, the spirit energy of the user is divided in half, one for speed, one for strength. The user delivers a powerful punch launching their opponent accross the floor, while the user continuously pummels them. They are then launched upwards and kicked back down to earth, upon impact the user delivers a final powerful blow (final heaven).

Note: these are basic descriptions of the moves of the Blitz Style. Marc is a highly skilled fighter and so results are different with him.
