Growing Up

Well its time for something deep. Growing up its something that any living creature that breathes and exists does. Catapillars turn into butterflies and then mate and die. Such is the destiny of all living things in this sad place that we call reality. I recently began thinking about all this when I finally passed my driving test. The moment I passed it I knew that I was growing up. I know that I ranted about learning to drive and how rediculous it was to learn, but finally passing it I felt relieved. But at that moment of relief I realized something, I was growing up. In that same day last week I knew that one day I would have to take up more responsibilities and be more independent. I just couldn't see myself as an adult. I'm not worried about drinking, drugs and sex; no, its the fact that all the things that I have now won't be around when I'm an adult.

No more summer vacations, the world does not stop in the professional field. Bills and buying food to eat will replace browsing for new anime DVDs and the latest video game console. I guess what I fear is the fact that one day I will have to leave behind all the things that I do now. I'm going to leave behind all my anime and games to do what all things are destined to do: grow up. I guess people are right when they say "you're only a kid once", I remember when I was in elementary school and seeing all these shows about people in high school or college and saying that'll be me one day. Now that I am in that position or even past them I wonder whats next and what will I out grow. I guess for now I'll enjoy being a kid, I may not know whats next but I'll get the most of my youth in terms of gaming and anime.

A Pitch VII

Lucky number seven, well as promised here's a pitch VII, which means that I also passed my driving test (yay me!! =D). So without further ado I bring you a pitch VII.

Its the year 2007, things have taken a turn for the worst in politics. When America and the rest of the world denies recognition of China as a country due to the increased rise in Communism and the rise of a new Communist dictator, the world's UN representitives are all killed by an unknown assassin hired by the Chinese government. Then a mysterious note is left behind declaring that the killings of the representitives' families will be next if China is not recognized by the world. With that the U.S. takes action to provide its representitive's family with the best protection. However in its lack of attention the wife is killed by Chinese spies, and now the U.S. seeks to find a proper body guard for thier daughter.

Meanwhile in China, the assassin who killed the UN representitives is caught. Yuy Fan an ex-Chinese Special operative is arrested by a hidden faction in the Chinese government. To redeem herself from her terrible crime the faction gives her one mission to protect the son of the former Chinese president and eliminate any hostile American forces.

At the same time, Duke Raynor death row inmate number 07852 is scheduled to be executed at 12 midnight. However Black ops representitives step in and give Duke a choice, his execution will be postponed if he is willing to take up "community service" for the government. His job: protect the daughter of the former U.N. representitive and track down the Chinese operative responsible for the deaths of the UN representitives. Two people given the task to protect the children of thier countries. One shall be forgiven for her crimes, the other has nothing to lose. However as these two fight each other, the crimes of both operatives will become clear and the two will eventually find out that there is more going on behind the scenes of politics. Its a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a twist: protect and kill.

Its strength vs elegance...

brains vs brawn...

truth vs lies...

Ideas That I Wish I Came Up With Earlier

Again we're taking a look into some background in my pitch ideas. I've mentioned earlier how I try to incorporate things that I've never seen done in my pitch ideas. Some of my original ideas were the seal circle techniques, Cage's shadow soul trait, the Blessed, giant robots duking it out to defeat a monster but end up defeating it in the process of beating each other up and helping wandering ghosts out so that they can be put to rest or exorcized. However despite my ability to think I've been beaten to the punch by Hollywood or other animes.

Hollywood beat me to one of my pitch ideas, if you've been keeping up with movies I'll explain the premise of this idea. Theres one target with a huge bounty on thier head, and hitmen, mercenaries and bounty hunters all want the bounty. So its a mad chase to kill the target and fight off one another to get the bounty. Sound like any movie that's been out recently? Well if you hadn't guessed it, thats the basic plot of Smokin Aces. I would have loved to make a anime pitch idea about this, but I know when I've been beaten.

Anime powers are something that I think about constantly. When you think about it most good animes have characters with abilities or powers that are completely original. Not like your cliche powers like lazer vision, super strength (Marc's an exception, he was born naturally strong so its not a power), super speed and energy attacks. One power that I wished I thought up was the ability to control your bones. Naruto beat me with that with Kimimaro, I was amazed by his ability to control his bones and not have a set amount of bones like a normal person. Also Bleach beat me to making your sword more powerful by learning its name. Its a neat idea, normally in most movies, shows or anime the weapons people use are just props for killing. But in Bleach a sword (or zanpaktou) is an actual being. Its a character's partner and they draw power from each other. Plus its cool when you hear a character give the release order and then shouting thier sword's name.

Well at this time these are some of the things that I wish I'd thought up of. So hopefully I pass my driving test next Wednesday and then I'll post up the pitch idea for B\/G. So I'm going to sleep now since I'm tired. G'night
