A Significant Other

Boyfriend and girlfriend, we see them everyday whether its on school campus or elsewhere. It's everyone's dream to find that one person of the opposite sex to spend time with. No I'm not going to complain about them, I'd like to get my position out about them is my concern. As of right now I am currently single. I'd like to find that one person of my dreams, but I'm a shy person. However I look at the girls here at Long Beach and see no one of my type as of yet. Someone once asked me what I'd like in a girl. Well here it is, sorry if its bias or sexist in anyway: she'd be Asian (Chinese perferably), about my age or one year younger, she'd be my height or a little shorter, I can make her laugh and she can make me laugh, she'd also have a cute laugh, watches anime (or at least know some of the series out there), and finally (this is asking a bit much) she plays video games.

As of right now, there is no such person, still looking though. However I love the single life, don't have to worry about dates, plus I wear matching socks. However a girlfriend would be nice to have, but I wouldn't know what to do with her. I can't drive yet, so dates would be difficult to do. I'm kind of a boring person, I don't keep up with sports, sitcoms or dramas. Its a little like my little brother and a cell phone. He wants one, so badly that he'll be moved to tears. In the end he wouldn't make much use of it besides calling my parents about once a week. Its the same for me, I don't want that kind of relationship with a girl that involves nothing and not becoming any closer to her. Its just a thing of mine, well maybe that girl is out there somewhere, but for now I'm going to enjoy the single life for as long as I can.

Well we're getting close to winter now. I think I'll leave some questions here and answer them as time passes. Most will be about anime or video games. so here are some questions to future me.

1. When does Naruto 2 start?

2. What is Naruto's new original move?

3.When does Arrancar Arc start for Bleach?

4.Will the PS3 have shortages?

5.Which sells better Wii or PS3?

6.Played Doom 3?

7.Played Double Agent?

Well these are my questions to future me. hopefully I'll be able to answer them all in the coming year.

A Look Into The Future

To my faithful reader(s), I would like to take this time now to write on the future of what my posts will be like. I may write something more meaningful sometime in the next few weeks. As for the review of Battlefield 2142, I've just discovered that my video card is not supported. So its gonna take sometime to research and upgrade. As for the pitch ideas, IV is currently in a development cycle again. This is one that I really, really need to think about fully before posting. Its a romance and I'm trying to get it so thats its both cute and good. V is up and rearing to go. Why didn't I just post that instead of IV, well 4 comes before 5 and therefore it must make sense. Also another look into a pitch III spin-off, combat files. Much like the armaments post before, this one will go into depth of the various skills and techniques of the characters. Expect to hear more about Marc's Blitz style moves and seal circle techniques.

Other than that, my Soc project is underway. I'm doing my second interview tomorrow and hopefully I'll be able to write my paper come the next few weeks. I've got it planned so that if I have time tomorrow I'll write the first few paragraphs, followed by more research into the next parts. So once this project is out of the way (its due Nov. 7), I'll post a pitch IV on the following Wednesday or Friday. So thats the future as of now, stay tuned.

Sorry

Sorry peeps, no pitch IV today. Got a lot to think about for class. Also have a project due in the next three weeks that I haven't started yet. Plus I've got a lot to think about for this idea. Sorry to those who have waited so long, but I promise you that if I were to write about it now, you'd never get a full understanding of what I want for this series. So don't see this as a bad thing, yet as something that could become better.

Enemy File 1: Demon Saviour

The Blessed: humans with powers of an angel. These unique humans are born every 2 months in the human world. They can form weapons of light that take on the form of thier soul. Who are these people? You've heard of them, everytime a case of Stigmata arises that is who they are. They bear the marks of Christ and serve as a mortal army for the realm of Heaven. Should the world become too currupt they go forth to purge the world. Thier skills are unmatched for humans. Their blood is also a potent weapon. It burns demons like acid and can heal any wound. They have souls of pure white, neither demon or human soul resides in them. Cool and Ruthless, they serve only God. Ryo could have become one if the tragic events that occured had not happened.

Twitches: these are middle class demons. They have a weak physique, thin arms and legs. However they posess a skill no demon has; the ability to predict the futrue in combat. It is said that even the most skilled warrior pitted against a Twitch, the Twitch is already 100 moves ahead of the warrior. It even has the ability to anaylze it's own movements and see the outcomes of them. No warrior has ever been a match for them.

Well I'm going to add these enemy files to my postings along with the looks and what not. Pitch IV tomorrow, so look forward to that.

Simple Wanderings

Sometimes I get really bored here at Long Beach. To pass the time I usually take long walks on or off campus. Its both healthy and really destresses me out sometimes. Like if I did bad on a test, I take a walk and work on new pitch ideas (by the way a pitch IV is one I've gotten really lazy with). However its really relaxing to me. Just recently I took a walk off campus to a nearby Borders and Curcuit City. I think it was at least half a mile away or so, but it was worth it. I really did feel like a wandering ninja (thats my new occupation) I walk around the area lending my services and like a shadow disappearing mysterously.

Its kinda like Evangelion episode 4, when Shinji aimlessly wanders around Tokyo trying to figure out what to do with himself if he leaves and never pilots an Eva ever again. Its a pretty interesting thing to do when you're bored. So if you ever feel stranded some place just take a walk around and clear your head.

Some Good Anime Related Listening

Despite what everyone says about soundtracks (you know its not all that original or you nerd) there are some really good tracks out there. Some are more easy listening than others so here are some recommendations from me. Broken Wings the ending theme to Trinity Blood. Its pretty good to listen to when you've finished working or what not. Reason the first ending theme to Gundam Seed Destiny. Great to listen to when you've hit the weekend. Dopo Il Sogno, the ending theme to Gunslinger Girl. Combine opra, classical and rock into one great track, best if listened to while its raining. Sorezore No Hisu Peacemaker. Quick song only like a minute or so, great when you've finished anything.

Good songs to rawk out to from anime. Run Rabbit Junk, Ghost In The Shell Stand Alone Complex. The track really fits in to assault scenes with Section 9. D-technolife, Bleach second opening. By far the most popular opening music. Well I'm out of ideas now, the tracks above can be found at the link I posted back in August. So listen to those and it'll be good listening.

Favorite Female Characters

Yet another installment of my favorite characters. This time I'd like to list some of my favorite female characters from anime. First would be Rei Ayanami, from Evangelion. She's the first child, assigned to Eva prototype Unit 00. She doesn't talk much, in fact she's a very mysterious character. A bit of a spoiler, if you ever watch it pay attention to her appearance. What I like about her is how quiet she is and how awkward she is at living. She lives in a very decreped apartment almost devoid of life, which almost seems like my dorm room. Overall the viewers almost never know what she is thinking or what she'll do next.

Next is Hinata Hyuuga from Naruto. She tends to be on the shy side and always trys her best to not be a burden. I guess I can relate to the shy side of her. I tend not to talk so much or approach others that often. Plus I like the she acts whenever she sees Naruto. I kinda feel the same way when the person I like is very close to me.

Last is Chise from Saikano. I haven't watched the anime, but I read the manga. A typical high school senior, who juggles school work, a boy friend and being Japan's ultimate weapon. She's short and apoligizes a lot. I kinda apoligize a lot too. Even if it isn't my fault directly. What I like about her is that she recognizes her flaws, she knows she's weak and is complex to deal with. However from where I am in the manga I know that she will run into a tragic end. But it doesn't stop her from living a normal life.

Well those are my favorite female characters from anime. I know most of them seem quiet and awkward. I feel the same way too. I guess if I were a girl they would be the characters I'd relate to the most. This post is basically a break from naming my favorite male characters (I mostly watch Shounen stuff) so its nice to take a look at favorite characters from the opposite sex. A pitch IV will be posted on Oct. 18. Also a post about anime soundtrack music that would be some good listening sometime in the future. So stay tuned.
