Nice Guys Finish Last?

I've been getting lazy about the posts. I normally write on Wednesdays (thats my only day off during the week) or Saturdays (my only time I get to enjoy writing at times). Well here goes what I think about our world.

That saying that "nice guys finish last" is probably the most true thing about life. It ranks up there with "life is never fair" or "nothing is ever free". It's a sad truth both in life and love. In society there are two kinds of people: the mean people and the nice people. Each class has a subclass within them. Sounds kinda like WoW in a way (I don't play but you get the reference). In this world where almost everyone you run into is pretty much a bitter sack of garbage, its hard to be nice to anyone. If your too nice people walk all over you, this happens to me a lot sometimes. If your too mean, then people will think your a jerk. You see sometimes you got to realize that not everybody will ever walk up to you and start being nice to you, if you still think that your just naive. It seems like nobody has time to be nice to anyone. When's the last time that you saw someone at school trip over something in front of a bunch of people and nobody laughed or pointed, but went up to that person and asked if they were alright. If you said zero, then your wrong, its actually in the negative numbers since it happens all the time.

As for love, it has been brought to my attention that it is somewhat true. While sitting in class one day doing work, this White girl was sitting there (not doing her work) talking with some people and asked what she would like in a guy. Now this girl is a walking cliche, how you ask? She's white, blue eyes, blond hair and cheerleader. If that doesn't scream cliche somebody should shoot you. Anyways she says she goes for the gruff and tough guys. Boy if girls today go for that kind of guy, then I'm a conservative. I don't know how many people read this or who even reads this, but what has this world come to. Girls don't get me wrong, but why can't you like normal nice guys like me. I'm polite, kind, funny, hardworking and honest. But not too many young ladies seem to notice me. You see in movies or animes that girls are just waiting to find a nice young man like that to fall in love with. In reality it only seems that girls would want a thrill seeking tough guy to fill thier life with.

So I pose this question to you. Why do nice guys finish last? Why does the world seem to place favor on the more aggressive people? All I know is that this world is just tearing its self apart. So I challenge anyone just to be nice to others. Sure it may not seem like a worthy cause, but when you show kindness to others it makes thier day.

Canada = Sucks

In my life I've made many enemies. Whether it be at school or in the world. Canada has just been added to it. Why? Because Canadians are lazy and they hate Americans as much as we hate them. Recently I've sent in an order (through my father) on ebay for the three Gunslinger Girl DVDs. That was last Monday, its been more than a week now. Of all the things that I've bought off ebay, everything came in 4 to 6 days. But, by tomorrow it'll have been more than a week. I'm not being impatient. It sucks seriously, the guy hasn't even replied to two emails regarding the status of the order. I mean you can't help at getting antsy when you have a situation like this. At any rate, I suppose the DVDs won't even be coming in this week. Lady Luck has never had the hots for me. I think She'd rather favor any big dumb high school jocks trying to win their school's Varsity home game or some fat old guy in choosing the winning lotto numbers in Florida.

Well hopefully they will come at any rate, but for now YOU SUCK CANADA!!!!

Edit: The DVDs came about a week later, still a little slow and email took a while.

Holiday Wrap Up

Well another Christmas has come and gone. Time to throw out the tree, return unwanted gifts and taking down the lights. Soon people will be going back to school or to work. It's kinda sad seeing this time go. Even though the holidays are the best of times for most major retailers. As for me, I took last week off to clear up my head. Its been a hectic finish for the year finding a job and all. I also miss the fact that my family won't be together for some parts of the year. Whether its going back to school up in Riverside or taking a business trip to another country or state for every week. Well the highlights of my holidays was spending time on Battlefield 2 and on my comp. Watching up to 108 eps of Naruto and all of Fullmetal Alchemist. Being able to talk to my brother (thanks to him I was able to watch Naruto and FMA, so thanks again :D).

Its been raining for a bit now, kinda like last year. Well as this year comes to open up, who knows what'll happen. I'll graduate come June, what anime I'll watch, what days I'll get lucky on a B2 ranked server and frag a bunch of people. Next major holiday I'll be taking will be summer vacation. I think I'll have to work during Spring Break =(. Well lets just see what happens, I'm thinking of a pitch pt 2 and what characters people around me relate to.
