A Pitch

In my free time or whenever I'm bored I come up with various game or anime ideas. For this post I would like to pitch this one. Okay imagine this, in the far future the world's economy is at its peak. Everyone has a job and money in the bank. Giant robots of various types are built, either by private enterprises or organizations. Get this these giant robots are toys for the youth. Also in this world various giant monsters attack at will. So who defends the world from the monsters? You guessed it the children. But it doesn't matter if the monsters are defeated, its who defeats them that matters. So at the very moment a monster is spotted, more than twenty giant robots appear to defeat it. In the end you would get giant mecha action and a monster defeated in the process.

Thats the basic plot, the series would then revolve around the children who own the robots. The children range from elementary to high school kids. The mecha designs pay homage to Gundam, Evangelion, Transformers, Metal Gear and even Power Rangers. To pliot one varies, remote control, cockpit, syching with it (damage done to your bot does damage to you) and neuro interface (think it and its done). All in all its fun to think about and this is only one of my ideas.

Edit: forgot to name this, I'd call it "Toybots".
