Blown Out of Proportions

Video games, one of the few things that my life revolves around. You see games are protected by the first amendment, so vg publishers can put whatever they want in a game as long as it is socially acceptable. However in recent news (Hot Coffee) has shown to most how "evil" some games can be. This all happened when I was on vacation and it was all over the news. Then people from politicians to ambulance chasing lawyers were all on top of it. Don't get me wrong, but wasn't publicly broadcasting the existance of this hidden content a bad thing to do. When they did this the entire US was all like "Dude did you hear about that hidden game in GTA?" "No really show me." Then boom you've just spread a little problem like a wildfire.

I'm all in for game ratings and parents monitoring the things kids play, but this is going over the edge. I mean it would have become a big issue eventually, but you didn't have to blow it up into a OMG someone alert Congress. I don't even think that Tomb Raider nude code got this much coverage. I mean it was as equally bad, but who knows. Kids play what you want, but know this what happens in games stay in the games. Parents sit down with your children and watch what they play, then afterwards tell them what the difference of what is right and wrong.
